And we're off!

Day one under our belts and we arrived at our first destination safe and sound.
The only tragedy of the day was the loss of one large moth that flew into Heather's mouth on the bus! Poor moth...... Well, if that was the worst thing to happen all day then the moth sacrificed his life for a good cause in his moment of poor flying judgement!
We made it out of Denver and on the road right on our scheduled time of 8 AM! An amazing feat in it's own way! Our first stop was in Glenwood Springs to take some time for a swim in the hot springs pool and a wonderful picnic lunch on the grass next to the pool. After arriving safe and sound at Community Church of Moab---our lovely lodging for the night, we unloaded and ventured out to have some dinner at the local spot, The Blu Pig! Oh so yummy BBQ and great friendly people! Tara was our amazing and gracious server who took great care of us!
The bus did NOT break down! The AC in the bus worked all the way across Colorado and into Utah! In our evening circle each person shared positive words for the day....here are those words that came up.....
Excitement! Exterior Cleansing! BBQ! New Views! Kindness Sunshine & A/C! MadLibs! Itadakimas! Great MPG! Chat! Mountains! Miller MothPacolypse!
All-in-all a very good first day of travel adventures!
Tomorrow morning we will travel the rest of our way to Monument Valley for our check in to our Workcamp!
